Brandon developed a cataract in his only good eye. At this point, he basically can't see anything that isn't right in front of him. A surgery to fix this issue, with a lens implant, is available. 

The procedure is funded, HOWEVER his astigmatism is so severe that it requires a specialized lens to be put in. There in lies the catch, the lens on it's own is $1,500.

This lens will allow Brandon to see without glasses for the first time in his entire life! With this procedure and lens, Brandon's vision will be clear for once and he will FINALLY be back on 2 wheels, hitting the mean streets of Asheville again.
